Three other vendors in our partner catalog fit that exact profile — 8+ PoE ports and Jetson Orin NX support:
| Product | Maker | PoE | Total LAN | Orin NX support | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| ATC 3563-NX8C/NXA8CR | NEXCOM | 8x GbE PoE+ (802.3af/at, 120 W budget) | 8 | Orin NX 8GB / 16GB | Fanless, CAN FD, GNSS, 9–36 VDC or 24 V rail (M12 variant), -25 to 60 °C, EN 50155 rail certs, up to 157 TOPS, JetPack 6.2 |
| BOXER-8658AI | AAEON | 8x GbE PoE/PSE | 10 (8 PoE + 2 GbE) | Jetson Orin NX | Fanless, wall-mount, CAN, GNSS, 9–36 V ignition-delay input, E-Mark, up to 157 TOPS, JetPack 6.0; catalog lists surveillance/NVR as an application domain |
| EAV-40N | EverFocus | 8x GbE with PSE | 8 | Jetson Orin NX | Fanless, CAN bus, 9–36 VDC, -20 to 60 °C, JetPack 5.1 |
A few things to weigh as an NVR replacement:
- PoE budget: the NEXCOM unit is the only one with a stated total budget — 120 W and PoE+ (802.3at) class, — relevant if your 8 cameras draw more than ~15 W each. The AAEON and EverFocus units list PoE/PSE ports but no total watt budget is listed for them. nexcom.com +2nexcom.com ↗“8x GbE PoE+ (RJ45 or M12, 120W)”aaeon.com ↗“8x GbE PoE/PSE”everfocus.com ↗“8x GbE LAN with PSE”
- Software stack: JetPack support differs — 6.2 (NEXCOM), 6.0 (AAEON), 5.1 (EverFocus). If your application targets a newer JetPack, the EverFocus unit may need extra work. nexcom.com +2nexcom.com ↗“jetpack_version_support=6.2”aaeon.com ↗“jetpack_version_support=6.0”everfocus.com ↗“jetpack_version_support=5.1”
- Fit: all three are also positioned for in-vehicle/telematics use — the NEXCOM and AAEON carry E-Mark, and the NEXCOM adds railway certs (EN 50155). They're ruggedized fanless boxes, a plus for NVR duty, but none is a drop-in rack form factor like the MIC-730IVA. nexcom.comnexcom.com ↗“EN 50155”
One caveat: a small number of other PoE-capable systems in the catalog don't publish a per-port PoE count and so can't be confirmed as 8-port; the three above are the ones that verifiably meet your requirement.
