I searched our catalog for hardware that supports Jetson TX1 modules, and found 3 products, all from partner vendors:
Active products
| Product | Type | Manufacturer | Key specs |
|---|---|---|---|
| J120A | Carrier Board | Auvidea | 1x GbE, 3 USB ports, mini HDMI, 1x 4-lane CSI-2 input, M.2 Key M NVMe slot, micro SD, CAN, 2 UARTs, optional 9-axis IMU; 7–17 V input; JetPack 4.2 support |
| J140 | Carrier Board | Auvidea | 2x GbE (TX1 GbE + Intel i210), 3x 4-lane CSI-2 connectors, 3 USB ports, mini HDMI, M.2 Key M NVMe slot, micro SD, CAN, 2 UARTs, 2S LiPo charger for battery backup; 7–17 V input |
Both Auvidea carrier boards support Jetson TX1 and TX2, so they also give you a path to reuse the same hardware with TX2 modules if your TX1 stock eventually runs out.
End-of-life
- GraphiteVPX/CPU-TX2/TX2i (VPG003) — a Connect Tech VITA 65 compliant, conduction-cooled 3U OpenVPX single-board computer (its datasheet also lists TX1 support). It carries a Jetson TX2i 8GB module and is marked EOL, so it's likely only an option if you already own one.
A few practical notes:
- The two active options are both carrier boards, not enclosed systems — you'd pair them with your TX1 modules and provide power, cooling, and an enclosure yourself.
- The Jetson TX1 is a Maxwell-generation module with limited modern software support; the J120A's stated JetPack support tops out at 4.2, which is worth confirming for your application before committing new designs around it.
- I also checked our broader ecosystem compute-hardware catalog and found no additional TX1-compatible boards there — these three are the complete set listed in our catalogs.
