Among the Alvium G1 (GigE) models in our catalog, only three reach at least 100 fps at full resolution — the small-sensor, global-shutter variants, where the ~122 MByte/s GigE link budget is not the bottleneck:
| Model | Sensor | Full resolution | Max full-resolution frame rate |
|---|---|---|---|
| Alvium G1-040c (color) | Sony IMX287, global shutter | 728 × 544 | 298 fps |
| Alvium G1-040m (mono) | Sony IMX287, global shutter | 728 × 544 | 298 fps |
| Alvium G1-030 VSWIR | Sony IMX991 | InGaAs, global shutter | 656 × 520 | 249 fps |

All three are GigE cameras with PoE (IEEE 802.3af) support, and the quoted rates are the datasheet full-resolution maximums at 122 MByte/s in Mono8 mode. alliedvisi...alliedvision.com ↗“at 122 MByte/s, Mono8”
A few points relevant to a high-speed sorting line:
- Resolution trade-off: these are the only G1 models that clear 100 fps at full resolution, and they are the lowest-resolution sensors in the family (≤0.4 MP). If your sorting task needs more pixels per object, no G1 model in the catalog simultaneously provides ≥100 fps at full resolution — higher-resolution G1 models top out at 88 fps (G1-130 VSWIR at 1296 × 1032) and fall off quickly from there (e.g., G1-158 at 74 fps, G1-192 at 59 fps, G1-240 at 50 fps). alliedvisi... +3alliedvision.com ↗“camera.max_full_resolution_frame_rate_fps=88”alliedvision.com ↗“camera.max_full_resolution_frame_rate_fps=74”alliedvision.com ↗“camera.max_full_resolution_frame_rate_fps=59”alliedvision.com ↗“camera.max_full_resolution_frame_rate_fps=50”
- Shutter: all three qualifying models have global shutter, which is what you want for moving objects on a conveyor — no motion distortion. alliedvisi...alliedvision.com ↗“camera.shutter_type=GS (Global shutter)”
- Interface constraint: because these are GigE cameras, the sustained throughput ceiling is tied to the ~122 MByte/s link rate, so at higher pixel formats or color output the practical rate will be lower than the Mono8 figures quoted above. alliedvisi...alliedvision.com ↗“at 122 MByte/s, Mono8”
One note: the catalog also lists Allied Vision Alecs G1 smart cameras (Jetson-based, e.g., Alecs G1-1242), but those max out at 40–81 fps at full resolution and are a different product family from the Alvium G1 cameras you asked about. alliedvisi... +1alliedvision.com ↗“camera.max_full_resolution_frame_rate_fps=40”alliedvision.com ↗“camera.max_full_resolution_frame_rate_fps=81”
